With all determination I scoured Newegg, Mwave, and Pricewatch; keen eyes looking over every bit of text for the next great deal on parts to serve my purpose. Eventually I decided on these:
ASUS A7N8X-VM/400 Nforce2 Chipset, integrated Gforce4MX, Micro-ATX form factor
AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.16GHz
2 sticks of 512MB PC3200 RAM
Enermax 250 Watt micro-ATX form factor PSU
Tatung 15-inch LCD Monitor
Maxtor 80Gb HD
Some other random parts (keyboard, mouse, etc)

Not THAT bad of a setup, is it? Well anyways, it soon began to arrive, bit by bit.

As the parts arrived I began to notice something, these tiny parts I was buying also seemed very cute to me. I seriously wanted to hug them. I cuddled that PSU for at least an hour. It was friggin weird.

The equally alluring keyboard. This was originally meant to mount inside the case on top of the "guts" of the case, but after using it I discovered it was a piece of crap, and decided against that.

I'm a fan dancer.

And lastly, check out this awesome switch I got. At first I was rather skeptical of course, but as time went on.............

I realised how awesome it was.

After all the parts arrived I put them into the case in the way I was hoping they would fit. They did, albeit rather tightly. Unfortunately the design of the case would change immeasurably as time went on.

Now I get to drill things!
